A new app called, Certizen YP has been launched on Appstore also.
Certizen YP is based on digital certificate published by the Hong Kong Post Certificate Authority (HKPCA) which is established under the Electronic Transactions Ordinance (Cap. 553), the e-sign law in Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (HKSAR). The application provides a way for mobile user to verify identity of website and individual’s email address based on their subscription record certified by the HKPCA. Currently the service is only for HKPCA subscriber by invitation only. Some of the invited parties included: www.e-mice.net, www.hongkongpost.gov.hk, www.ecerts.hk
